Lady and the Octopus

When I was drawing her legs they made me think of an octopus, so I drew and octopus next to her.

It's been hard getting back to drawing, so I decided to try drawing with my non-dominant hand again. This takes the pressure off. I can have the initial idea, but then my hand is responsible for what happens- I am off the hook.

I was thinking that instead of drawing a background I would try using different papers and see what that is like.

I went to see a show of Carol Rama's work at the New Museum and it inspired me to start drawing again. I drew these with my non-dominant hand.
