This is my second attempt at automatic drawing/ doodling mixed in with some intentional drawing. Also mixed in there is paying attention to when I am rushing to finish. After a while, I became more interested in the process, allowing for disappointment about a shape or color choice etc. and at the same time encouraging myself to try a color mix or shape even when it didn't seem right. It's just a drawing, but it felt so risky somehow. In the end, it was a good process and I was pleasantly surprised by some unexpected juxtapositions of color.
This is so cool. I love to hear about your process--about how you tune in to your feelings and and respond to them -- and allow yourself to play.
