Hi Michele - this is wonderful - her dress, expression, the whole drawing. And the window with the curtains that echo the pattern on her dress. It's "home cooking" that doesn't quite have a feeling (for me, at least) of domestic tranquility - there's an edge -- and I love that. Maybe home cooking is not always what it's cooked up to be. Am I reading too much into this? Did you have a particular intention when drawing?

Reminds me of dropping in on an aunt. She just happens to be whipping up a batch of something. She's happy to see us.
