I am particularly taken with the dog's tail! And I get the sense that these two are in motion, out for a walk, staring at the artist who finds them interesting.
I love the way the red tail refers back to the red dress and (of course) so does the hair. but it is interesting to see how such a simple thing as the red tail and the shape of it helps to link the dog and the woman in a relationship.
